BoxSentry is an innovative Email Security technology company headquartered in Singapore, with a European office in London, and development teams in UK and Australia.
BoxSentry was founded in 2003 with the primary objective of addressing email security issues in non-English speaking markets, particularly those using Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai), Arabic and Cyrillic characters. This was to meet the market need created by conventional anti-spam technologies not being effective with non-English language email.
The company has partners across Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia), as well as across the Middle East and Europe. BoxSentry collaborates with its network of Distributors, Resellers, Solution Partners across its core focus markets to ensure true localization of, and support for, its next generation Email Security platform – RealMail™. The company is bringing it products to customers (Enterprise, Government, Service Providers) through its specialised Distributors and Resellers who are focused on security solutions, and in most cases provide RealMail to their enterprise customers as a "value add" to existing, current generation email security solutions.
BoxSentry has taken a contrarian approach with the RealMail solution which has been developed to ensure an exceptionally low rate of false positives, whilst still effectively protecting against email security threats such as spam. As a result, BoxSentry is the leader in using email sender authentication to protect legitimate email. BoxSentry is redefining the agenda for email security by effectively creating a new category of email security solution.
As part of its commitment to leadership in the email security space, BoxSentry is also a member of various industry alliances including MAAWG (Mail Anti-Abuse Working Group – www.maawg.org). The company participates in, and contributes to, these industry alliances together with some of the email security industry’s largest players.
BoxSentry Pte Limited is privately held with external capital from private investors led by Greenoak Capital Partners.
